There are many books about career change but most involve a great deal of self analysis and then you may find your dream job is one which requires four years of full time study which your personal circumstances may not allow. These e-books focus on the jobs that you can realistically enter as a second career, particularly if you cannot afford to go back to full time study. If one of these careers appeals to you, then with hard work and determination, it can be done! There is some self evaluation required (as you work through the step by step process to identify which of the 50 occupations covered is likely to suit you best) but there is more than a little gut instinct involved. Most of the skills required can be obtained through education and in the cases where certain innate skills are required (e.g. 'patience' for some jobs), if you do not already possess them, it is unlikely that the career would be high on your shortlist anyway! See below for chapter details.
Australian end English versions
There are two versions of the e-book - Australia and England. Most, but not all, of the careers are the same in each book but the actual job titles, entry requirements, qualifications, professional associations and contact details have all been researched specifically for that country. (A note for people from Wales,Scotland or Northern Ireland - the English book is likely to provide useful information as much of the data is national. However, specific research into differences that may exist has not been conducted.)
